On the one hand we have its extraordinary weather –one-of-a-kind in the European continent. Autumn and spring are best defined by mild temperatures and beautiful light; in the winter, it hardly ever rains, and the thermometer does not drop below 5ºC; and in the summer, despite it is high season for tourism, it’s still easy to enjoy solitary places and unexploited scenery inland.
Another unique characteristic of Almeria is the wide variety of landscapes it presents. Thanks to an adequate network of pintoresque roads and tracks, within a 1-hour drive radius one may find anything from 2000-meters snowy peaks to unexploited beaches and coves; from pine or olive woods to the famous Tabernas desert; from urban locations with historic sites and buildings to "actual"
Far West villages.
And for the leisure time, the wide range of accomodation available offers a good variety of on-demand services including golf courses, scuba-diving centres and journeys of all kinds: Hiking, horse-riding, quads, jeeps.
